SFP Transceiver Modules
The small form-factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver module is a compact optical transceiver used in optical communications for both telecommunication and data communication applications. It interfaces a network device motherboard (for a switch, router or similar device) to a fibre optic or unshielded twisted pair networking cable.

WDM SFP Transceiver Modules
In fibre-optic communications, wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) is a technology which multiplexes multiple optical carrier signals on a single optical fibre by using different wavelengths of laser light to carry different signals. This allows for a multiplication in capacity, in addition to enabling bidirectional communications over one strand of fibre.
